To everyone who has supported me so far: thank you so much!
No words can describe my feelings. It would be way easier to express myself in my native language, but I’ve met so many travelers from other countries that need to read this as well. It won’t be perfect, it won’t cover everything, but I’ll give it my best shot! The past ten weeks have been crazy. Days with only 2 hours of sleep, working my ass off. Lots of ups and downs. Mainly experimenting with my idea in Europe. I would really like to give you a look behind the scenes of teachmewhatever, because on social media everything is perfect. And obviously I’m not.
Exactly ten weeks ago I randomly decided to put my teachmewhatever idea online, which had popped into my head during one of my sleepless nights. Nights in which I was thinking about my life. How I wanted to do something different. How I still wanted to learn so much… from others. Convinced that lifelong learning is key, I decided to travel around the world asking random strangers to teach me whatever. My goals:Trying to figure out what I’m really passionate about and becoming a more all-round person while doing so. To teach others to step out of their comfort zone and do the same. To encourage inquisitiveness because I honestly believe that anyone can teach you something as we all have a different background. Every single thing (whether professional or creative) I learn, adds something to my (and your) all-round knowledge. However, that’s not what I wanted to tell you. I realize how lucky I am and want to show you how I really feel.
I was scared to fail. Scared for the „bashers”. Scared to leave and feel lonely. Scared to not find anyone to teach me something. Scared to not live up to the expectations. And I guess I still am scared and will always be. But I’m so glad I was so crazy to just do it and step by step I’m
Being a perfectionist I’m currently evaluating myself to always keep improving my content. I found out that I need more ‘quick’ content like short videos & updates. More about that in another post.I’ve made lots of mistakes but by writing them down I created a list of learnings that I’ll one day share with you. I’m super happy that some of my teachers discovered my project on social media and were so kind to contact me. I feel so grateful that they decided to give some random girl a chance. I realize that I got a lot very lucky. I will keep spreading the message to prove to everyone that they can achieve whatever they want to. Thanks to all the support from truly amazing people I have the strength to do what I do. And that means everything to me. Every time someone tells me to keep going, you make my day. We’re not perfect, but we don’t need to be. To keep learning new things & exploring the world while feeling your love, that’s all I need.
Conclusion: All you need is an idea that you’re passionate about & a shitload of luck. I wish you a lot of luck with your ideas as well. You can always tell me about them!
Thank you x 1000000.
