A weekend in L.A.

I recently traveled to Los Angeles, so here are some highlights from my 2 days in this bubbly city. First of all, as I’ve only been there once before, I went for the more touristy Hollywood Walk of Fame, Venice Beach, and Beverly Hills combo. While for many considered too touristy, I enjoyed cruising down Rodeo Drive, admiring people’s work-outs on the beach, and checking out which stars received their mark on the Walk of Fame.

One thing I’d recommend is to check out the Hollywood Bowl schedule, and see if you can catch a show one of the nights you’re there. I went to Above and Beyond Acoustic and it was magical. When it comes to food, there’s only one place to be: Eggslut. Order “The Slut” if you’re into mashed potatoes, and don’t forget to add a refreshing OJ.

If you’re not from the USA, “chicken and waffles” may sound like a strange combo to you. I remember raising my eyebrows when I heard about it the first time. However, I recommend you to give it a try. “Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles” is a well-known place for this delicacy. It will leave you longing for more!

Thanks for swinging by! Let me know if you have any other questions or want to share tips on how to get the most out of Los Angeles in one of my next visits.
